- I have a Supra external 28.8 Fax/modem with updated ROM that lets
- Windows recognise it as a PnP, which it does. I don't know the
- Express. Supra has a Web site (www.supra.com) where they ROM updates,
- etc. I would suggest contacting their tech support.
- As for the message about the port being open and the modem in use,
- sounds like a conflict with something else, e.g., a serial mouse,
- using the same port. If you open Control Panel\System and the Device
- Manager tab and check "view devices by connection", you can check if
- any other devices are using the same port.
